A blog post! A real blog post.
I’m not going to lie….it make me cringe when I look at the date of my last post. Last year was truly an amazing year in so many ways. I met so many fun, wonderful families, loved seeing my past families and their growing kids, and worked with so many bright, inspiring seniors…and in the middle of all of the scheduling, shooting and experiences….blogging somehow fell to the wayside! While I love having this platform to share stories and more images from sessions….I realize that sometimes I just have to focus on delivering images that my clients love, while also balancing my full and busy life with my family. I know I’m not alone in this….life is a constant juggle for ALL of us. Time keeps moving forward, my girls keep growing and changing, and in the middle of all of this, sometimes, something has to give. With that said, I’m going to cut myself a little slack and move forward from here…trying my best to share some of my sessions and stories from this past busy season, while also sharing some personal stories and images from adventures with my own family!
So…no better place to start than right here and now! :)
I’m going to start with a family that just makes me smile….the Anderson family! This is my second year working with this family…their kids are busy, adorable and truly hilarious….every time I look through their images, I find myself smiling at my screen…I just love them!!
The theme of their session this year? Contain the busy toddler while on the busy downtown streets….thankfully, it was a quiet morning, but we know how quick toddlers can move!
Sweet Blake…your adorable and mischievous little smile!! :)
And big sister Brynn….such a love…full of personality and funny as can be!
One of my absolute favorites of these two….good thing for a fast shutter, because little Blake lasted a matter of seconds in this position! :)
A beautiful family….
And I loved having grandparents there for the session, and especially when we captured this generations photo! Brynn loved giving hugs (or some variation of choking-love) but I loved the expressions she created! :)
A few more of these cuties….
Anderson family….loved your session – a highlight of my season to see you all again and see how your sweet kids have grown!
